Our client is working alongside an exciting, European investment bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Fund Credit Risk Analyst to work with them on a temp to perm basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this role you will report to the Head of Credit Risk London. You will provide risk analysis on regulated and un-regulated funds, asset managers, private equity funds, pension funds and potentially banking institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Risk analysis includes but is not limited to financial and business risk analysis, rating proposals and written recommendations to the credit committee and\/or the relevant delegation holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The responsibilities of a Fund Credit Risk Analyst will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Prepare and submit risk analysis for new credit requests or annual reviews of existing clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Propose internal ratings based on the risk analysis performed and ensure that the ratings are in line with the relevant rating methodology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Check that each request is in line with the Bank\u2019s relevant risk policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Ensure that the annual reviews and rating updates are done in a timely manner and per relevant standards set by the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Participate in due diligence meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Present the Risk recommendation to the credit committee and\/or delegation holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Provide Risk input to the legal documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Actively monitor the risk profile of the existing client portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Ensure a smooth and timely processing of all credit requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Provide back-up for other credit analysts of the London Risk Department if and when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Assist in transversal tasks when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The successful Fund Credit Risk Analyst will have:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Finance and\/or Economics background<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Strong financial analysis and modelling skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Good knowledge of the fund industry including the hedge fund industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Ability to produce detailed and concise risk analysis<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Ability to assess, present and explain complex transactions and new activities to management<\/p>\n\n\n\n
