Our client is working alongside an exciting international bank who based in the City of London. They are seeking a Credit Policy & Governance Operation Manager \/ Vice President to work with them on a temp to perm basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The responsibilities of a Credit Policy & Governance Operation Manager \/ Vice President will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Manage the process of producing the EMEA KRI, CD KPI and other Management Information (e.g. Condition & Instruction management, Send-Back analysis, Trigger management) reports. – creating error-free management information based on the internal rules by themselves<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Guide and train junior member of staff in the team to meet the required quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Provide practical solutions to all staff of EMEA (Front Offices, RMD, OAD, CD) how to apply the bank\u2019s credit policy and rules in day-to-day business (100-150 inquiries monthly).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Able to identify, analyse, implement, and evaluate solutions to the assigned operations with understanding of operational risk and Kaizen in mind. (3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Conduct robust root cause analyses across the bank on identified risk events or complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Manage system change projects to fix\/ improve TMS (Lotus Notes), DDT, SC database, GBR, EIC, Credit Application Tracking system (web based). – knowledge in SQL, any data dashboard software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Ensure that the department has adequate written policies and procedures in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Take ownership for the timely remediation of findings raised in the operation review, first line of defence functions or third line of defence functions and working with Operation Management function of Credit Risk Policy and Operation Supervisory team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Provide trainings to all levels of risk functions in the bank in the area of bank\u2019s Credit Risk Management Framework in close corroboration with relevant departments. – create training materials and deliver training on internal policy and rules. be comfortable with public speaking<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Work in partnership with enabling functions in the Bank to ensure that controls are adequately identified and monitored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The successful Credit Policy & Governance Operation Manager \/ Vice President will have:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Relevant experience with the financial industry and related markets gained within an environment where a mature operational risk process has been developed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Expert with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Power BI). Deep SQL knowledge is advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7               Undergraduate\u2019s degree(s) with an analytical focus or equivalent experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
